MemoServ is a utility allowing users to send other users short messages, whether they are online or not.
If you are already connected to an IRC server and need help using MemoServ, type the following:
/msg memoserv help
Otherwise please read the following information.
Note: Both you and the person who receives your Memo must be registered with NickServ.
The various MemoServ options are:
SEND | LIST | READ | DEL
SEND:
Syntax: /msg memoserv send <nick> <memo-text>
This sends the named <nick> a memo containing <memo-text>. The recipient will receive a notice that they have a new memo.
LIST:
Syntax: /msg memoserv list
This command will list all the memos you have.
READ:
Syntax: /msg memoserv read <num>
This command will display for you the memo <num> in the list
DEL:
Syntax: /msg memoserv del <num|all>
This command will delete the <num> memo in the list. If the <all> command is used then all the memos in the list will be deleted.
