The Memorial Service Location Has Changed!
SIMMONS - Carl Eugene (Gene) Simmons, 48, died Friday, August 1, 1997. Mr. Simmons was a native of Jacksonville, graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and was employed by J.E.A. for 24 years.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd.
Survivors include his mother, Elsie F. Simmons; his wife, Susan Simmons; 1 son, Roger Eugene Simmons; 2 sisters, Linda S. Matherson and Deborah Renee Smith; 2 brothers, Rick and Dale Simmons.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Dialysis Center, 1715 Kings Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
